Inspiring Education: A Dialogue with Albertans

Under Education Minister Dave Hancock, the Province of Alberta initiated a comprehensive review of education in Alberta called "Inspiring Education." In January 2009, Public Interest Alberta advocated for an inclusive, transparent consultation process.

Develop the Full Potential of All Alberta Students

Public Interest Alberta launched its campaign to advocate for an education system that “Develops the Full Potential of All Alberta Students”. We completed a comprehensive on-line survey of over 4000 Albertans about the critical issues in K – 12 education. We also distributed thousands of post cards that invited people to write to the Minister of Education to tell him what needs to be done to ensure we can develop the full potential of all Alberta students.
