Seniors Care Provincial Speaking Tour
From September 28th to December 11th, Public Interest Alberta, Friends of Medicare and the Parkland Institute partnered up for a speaking tour around Alberta to raise awareness about the many concerns on seniors care in our province.
We encourged people to take action and join our Constitutency Action Teams, as well as collecting people's stories on seniors care to communicate to our members, the general public and the government.
Please see some of the stories we collected around the province on our video page.
As well, the Parkland Institute presented its new report on elder care, From Bad to Worse: Residential elder care in Alberta.
