Video interview with Dr. Dennis Shirley - Shirley, a professor at the Boston Lynch school of Education, was the keynote speaker for our conference. He is an internationally renowned speaker, author and educator whose research on organizing has involved establishing multi-issue, multi-class, and multi-racial coalitions around social justice issues.

Video interview with Dr. Ritika Goel - Goel is the Co-Founder of Students for Medicare. She is a family phsyician working primarily in the inner city of Toronto, as well as a strong advocate for social justice.

Video interview with Walter Davis - Davis is the Executive Director of the National Organizers Alliance. He has decades of experience mobilizing successfully for social change and racial justice.

Video interview with Dr. Trevor Harrison - Harrison is a Professor of Sociology at the University of Lethbridge. He is a researcher and author, known for his work on populist politics, political sociology, political economy, and public policy.

Rob Hopkins, the originator of the Transition Town concept, spoke on Mobilizing to Meet the Challenges of Peak Oil and Climate Change. Following his talk, three leaders from Alberta spoke on Making the Alberta Connection:

Bob Hawksworth (video) - Hawksworth is the Coordinator of the Municipal Climate Change Action Centre.

Melina Laboucan-Massimo (video) - Laboucan-Massimo is Lubicon Cree from Northern Alberta, an indigenous rights advocate as well as Greenpeace's Climate and Energy Campaigner.

Gil McGowan (video) - McGowan is the President of the Alberta Federation of Labour.
